This is a practical, hands-on course. You will learn about the functions of the camera and how they affect the look your photographs. The tutor explains the relationship between aperture and shutter speed, the manual settings, ISO, white balance, picture quality, and metering systems.

In addition, the tutor discusses lighting, composition and how to achieve the correct exposure to create interesting photographs. You will work with the tutor on location in London. The tutor gives advice on how to approach a subject and which camera functions to use. At the end of the course, all the photographs taken will be evaluated through constructive appraisal.

The course is based on discussions, demonstrations, and practical sessions designed to develop your confidence in handling your camera and enable you to take better photographs.
