I am showing prints using early photographic processes including cyanotypes, salt prints and liquid light prints on water colour papers, bark and stone in addition I show some images printed on fibre based papers. This fair is an opportunity to acquire prints amongst other 19th Century photographic work.

What is a Liquid Lightprint? Liquid Light is a photographic emulsion - silver gelatin - coated onto a variety of surfaces and materials including stone, silk, canvas, and almost any type of paper. It allows black & white negatives to be printed on those surfaces.
This is a highly creative and enjoyable printing process that encourages practitioners to explore new ways of giving expression to creative ideas.

In 1977 the Dutch photographer Yoke Matze visited Paul Citroen in his studio in Wassenaar. Paul was working on a portrait of an important German photographer Otto Umbehr (1902-1980), better known as 'Umbo’. Umbehr and Citroen were friends.
They both studied at the Bauhaus in Germany. With Umbo Paul Citroen undertook his first photo experiments. ...more

Sixty artists of the South London Women Artists group including myself are taking part in the Uniqlo Tate Lates on Friday 23 February 2018.
